Today Year 4 took the train to London Bridge and went to discover the South Bank. We saw the Shard, Southwark Cathedral, old Roman walls, St Paul’s Cathedral and ended up at the Tate Modern. In the huge Tate Modern Turbine Hall we ate lunch and then climbed 10 flights of stairs to discover the view at the top…this was amazing. We saw lots of historical land marks as well as watching some people cleaning windows 100s of meters up!
Following this we went to the Globe where we toured around this amazing theatre and got to ask any questions that we wanted! Then we took part in a Macbeth workshop where we got to be the actors; it was brilliant fun.
