Swimming Gala

Children from years five and six competed in a swimming gala at Folkestone Sports Centre. All the children competed in both individual races and relays. We saw some fabulous swimming and pure determination form the children today. We are very proud of them for their swimming achievements and attitudes towards their fellow swimmers. Yr.6 Bushcraft

Yesterday Yr.6 had a bushcraft session at Folkestone Sports Centre. It was a brilliant morning. The children were able to build shelters, start fires using a range of fire lighting equipment, split wood, make and thread natural wooden beads, use a hammock, create rope swings and clear overgrown areas. Tennis

Yr.6 headed to Hythe Tennis Club today to enter a tennis tournament against other schools. The children each played seven matches. Everyone played well and visibly improved across the afternoon. We came third, sixth and twelfth. Well done everyone!

Olympic Roadshow

On Tuesday all of Years 4 and 5 really enjoyed an Olympic roadshow in the playground together. The children had a go at running, tennis, hockey and basketball improving all their skills under the watchful eyes of the various coaches, Mark, Sam, Finleigh, John and Josh. Art Workshop

Yesterday a group of children participated in an art workshop, we met with three lovely ladies Tania, Thurle and Constance and walked along to STEVE, which is one of the sculptures in the fish market. Kingswood

Over the weekend children from Years 5 and 6 went on a residential trip to Kingswood Activity Centre. Following a short coach journey, everyone enjoyed playing together in a park in Ashford.
