Handball Finals- 4th in Kent!

On Wednesday, seven children headed to Medway Park for the Kent Handball finals. They qualified to represent Shepway in this event earlier in the year. Each district was put into one of three leagues. Our team played amazingly well only losing one game all day to Maidstone. This was a close game but just at the last minute Maidstone won 2-1. This meant we narrowly missed out on playing for first to third place as only the top team went through. We went into the fourth to sixth play offs and again won all of our games having to work hard for some of them. Our goal keeper made some amazing saves and was noticed by the referees as being outstanding! Well done everyone you played really well, exhibited excellent sportsmanship and were a credit to the school!
