Canada Day

This morning most of Year 4 went to Shorncliffe Barracks Cemetery to remember the many Canadian soldiers that gave their lives, so many miles from home, to help us out during WWI. It was a lovely service led by a Canadian Chaplain in front of many school children, the Folkestone Mayor and other dignitaries along with some soldiers and veterans. The children each laid their flowers on a Canadian gravestone.
