Ducklings looked super smart in their Christmas outfits in support of our schools Christmas Fair.
After finishing studying the book version of War Horse, Yr.6 watched the film this morning. They then held a debate discussing which version was better. They were very passionate and had very good reasons for their opinions.
In KS2’s worship this morning we looked at our value of the term- compassion. First we reminded ourselves of the Bible story that goes with this value which is ‘The Good Samaritan’. This morning Years 2, 3 and 4 all went to watch a pantomime called A Knight’s Tale. This amazing show was written and performed by a group of Harvey Grammar School pupils. Yr.6 investigated how the rate of dissolving was affected by the temperature of the water. They timed how long it took sugar to dissolve in three different temperatures of water.
This evening children from KS2 opened the celebrations for the town centre Christmas light switch on. They sang Silent Night in English and German and a medley of songs from our nativity play. The children were amazing and sang beautifully. A huge thank you to all the people who came to support us.
