War Horse Trip – Group 1

Today was the first of our amazing ‘War Horse’ based trips. Half of Yr.6 went to the Alkham Valley Community Project where they were able to participate in workshops which brought the book to life. Everyone was able to ride a horse, ride in a carriage and give commands to the horse, look at collars, tack and harnesses, see a horse being clipped and groom a pony. It was an amazing opportunity which was enjoyed by all. Many of the children had never ridden before and everyone did really well. A big thank you to all at the Alkham Valley Community Project who made this possible.
