Shepway Basketball Tournament

This afternoon sixteen children from Yr.5 and Yr.6 headed to the Sports Centre to compete in a basketball tournament. Our blue team came fourth in their league. The striped team won all but one of the games in their league putting them into second position and meaning they went into the semi finals. This was a closely fought game with Hawkinge Primary taking the win. In the third and fourth play off against Christchurch it was even closer, going into two rounds of extra time due to equal scores. Christchurch managed to score first though so went through into third. Well done everyone you played well and represented our school beautifully.
