On Friday, the second half of Class 5 enjoyed a wonderful morning at Minnis Moor Stables. The pupils took part in taster riding lessons and took turns to ride in a small horse carriage. We learnt the basics of horse grooming and were taught more about the roles of horses in World War I. Finally, the children had a tour of the stables and met some of the other animals including Pippet (a 7 month-old foal) and Star the donkey. It was a brilliant morning!
