Last week, Yr.6 separated solutions by using a candle to heat the solution. They were left with salt crystals in the foil tray and even managed to get condensation on the mirror!
Linked to our topic, Toys and Games, Owls have been busy this week making wooden spoon dolls inspired by Forky from Toy Story 4. We used knives, forks and spoons to create our cutlery toys and then we played with them.
Although it is not up yet, Owls have been getting into the Christmas spirit early and preparing our class Christmas tree. We drew then cut around our hands before decorating them. We have been super busy in social club this week. The children have made their own dream catchers which were beautiful. On Thursday we played bingo. Social club enjoyed this so we played lots of games.On Friday we played with the parachute. The children loved sitting inside it to make a tent.
