Simple Circuits

Today in science we considered what was needed to make a simple electric circuit complete and why some circuits would not work. We had fun using a website to increase our knowledge and then to do a quiz as a class.

Year 1 Octopuses

Year 1 used their creative skills to use recycled tubes to make octopuses. We learnt how octopuses protect themselves from predators and how enormous their brains are! We drew suckers on their eight tentacles and they now look super on display in our classroom!

Rounders at Radnor Park

Yr.6 took advantage of the sunny weather and headed to Radnor Park to do PE.  We took advantage of the new running track and rounders pitch that have been marked out there.  Oliver won the boys’ race and Brooke the girls’ one.  however, everyone ran amazingly well and completed the track. Class 5 Beach Maths

After learning all about Roman numerals in maths this morning, we decided to take a walk down to the beach for a larger writing area! We practised our numerals in the sand by writing dates and number sequences. We also had time to enjoy the fresh air and space playing, digging holes and making patterns. Continue reading

Microorganisms and UV Light!
