Year 1 Seasonal Food Portraits

This week Year 1 have been learning about how fruits and vegetables are seasonal and the different fruit and vegetables that grow in the different seasons. We created portraits in the style of Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, drawing only fruit and vegetables to create facial features.

Today in worship we celebrated Ash Wednesday, initially we talked about which part of the Bible the stories about Jesus’ life could be found.
