Tutankhamun

Year 4 have just had an amazing day, we went to the Saatchi Gallery to see the Tutankhamun exhibition. Although very busy in the galleries, we all enjoyed looking at the artefacts and reading about them learning more about Ancient Egypt and the discovery of King Tut’s tomb.

After  lunch we attended a workshop where we studied some sacred symbols and then proceeded to make our own.
All the children behaved brilliantly and impressed some of the staff there with their knowledge of ancient Egypt. We had several members of the public comment about how good the children were being. We were very proud.
