Perfectly Norman

Today the new Owls spent time in Ducklings as part of their transition. We looked at the book ‘Perfectly Norman’ about a boy who was special because he grew wings! We talked about what made each of us special and did some amazing writing.

We had a super playtime riding bikes and scooters and at the end we made paint rockets that flew and exploded. They were really messy but very cool!

Next, we made aeroplanes that actually flew and had a competition to see whose flew the furthest. Miss Fakley came and led a circle time were the children talked about all of their special qualities.

In choosing time we made rockets , wings and created animals out of our finger prints.

We had a lots of fun and a really lovely day!
