Owls filled up their fluffy jar so to celebrate, we had a party! We had lots of fun making hats, playing games, dancing and eating cake! We also sang happy birthday to everyone who had had a birthday this term.
Following our walk round Folkestone to look at the plinths, we made our own. We used some modelling clay to make something to display on our plinths then decorated both our model and plinth. They are currently on display in our classroom and look amazing!
This year we were unable to celebrate harvest festival in church as we usually would. However, we enjoyed coming together via Zoom. On Friday, Yr.5 headed down to Seapoint Canoe Centre where they all had a session in an open canoe, one on a giant paddle board and a turn on sit on kayaks. Everyone had great fun, some overcame their fears and found they really enjoyed themselves and lots showed brilliant skills. Well done everyone!
