Owls have had so much fun over the past few days celebrating Christmas. They have completed lots of glittery Christmas crafts, danced, made Christmas cards, watched films, had a live chat with Father Christmas and made yummy snow biscuits.
Ducklings enjoyed some time this week reading Christmas books. Some chose to use the stable role play area to share books together.
This week in social club the children have enjoyed many Christmas crafts. We even had a stocking competition! The children have also used the stage to make and perform dances. The children played with play dough. We made grinch Christmas cards and watched a Christmas film to end the week. Merry Christmas!
KS2 had a fantastic time at their Christmas party this afternoon. They enjoyed party games, dancing and a huge feast of party food! Thank you very much for all the kind donations. The children looked fabulous and festive in their party outfits. The pictures speak for themselves!
Today was our school Christmas dinner, the children were very excited, they loved their hats and the food especially the Christmas tree shaped choc ices for dessert and the candy canes or chocolate lollies.
This term, in their usual Art classes on Friday mornings, we have had a DT focus this term. The children split up in to their own groups and discussed the features of traditional gingerbread houses. This afternoon year 4 decorated biscuits with a Christmas theme. The children had a great time getting messy and there were lots of happy faces.
