This morning Yr.6 heated several substances over a candle flame and observed what happened carefully. They found that some materials just changed their appearance when they were heated and others made something new. After worship, Yr.6 started their day with an Easter Egg Hunt at The Bayle Pond. They enjoyed looking high and low for chocolate eggs, bunnies and chicks. There were also four Easter farm animals to find – these were in tricky places and led to the ultimate Rabbit prize! It was great fun!
To complete our gymnastics unit in PE, Year 6 performed group routines using the apparatus. The routines had to include a clear starting and finishing pose, a balance and elements of symmetry.
