Yr.6’s Last Day

What a fantastic last day!  It started with a celebration of Yr.6’s time at St Eanswythe’s School. Every child shared a favourite memory, we had prayers led by the children and sung and danced to a few of their favourite worship songs. All the children were presented with a memory book and some received awards for particular skills and achievements ranging from Mathematician of the Year to the #Choose Kind Award.  We also remembered Penny by planting a Cherry Tree in the worship area.

Following this we played parachute games in the hall, signed their shirts, had some play time, handed out gifts and played a very competitive game of ‘Don’t Say it!’

We will miss all of the children in Yr.6; they have been an exemplary year in very tricky circumstances.  We hope they will keep in touch.  Have a great summer everyone!
