Following on from our independent learning and the animation workshop, Year 6 went on a walk to visit ‘I Am Argonaut’ and many other pieces of Triennial art. We stopped to look at Jason Wilsher-Mills’ creation in more detail. We were lucky enough to have our very own tour guide- Daisy May! Daisy told us lots of interesting facts about Jason, the inspiration behind his artwork, his struggle with disability and why he feels as if he owes his life to William Harvey.
We took a stroll along the leas to appreciate various other pieces of Triennial artwork.
We also took advantage of the beautiful Autumnal weather and went to the coastal park and of course, had to cool off with a tasty treat afterwards!
