Drusillas

Yesterday Ducklings and Owls had a great first day back at school visiting Drusillas Park. After the long coach journey we arrived and went off to our special workshops.

Owls had an exciting adventure story session which was also a great introduction to our new topic, adventures! After the story we got to meet lots of different animals from the story and found out lots of interesting information. We met a corn snake, bearded dragon, Madagascan hissing cockroach, an African land snail and finally the star of the story, Harry the rat.

Ducklings enjoyed an interesting dinosaur session where they got to meet a friendly armadillo, a cockroach and a snake. They also listened carefully and learned lots of new information about Dinosaurs.

After we had our lunch outside we went off to explore the park. We saw a range of animals, explored a maze, went on different animal themed rides and rode on a train around Drusillas.

A very fun and jam packed day was had by all!
