The Wooden Spoon Hut

This academic year we have had a new delivery to our playground – thanks to the children’s charity Wooden Spoon we have been able to purchase a brand new summer house to have as a Nurture and well-being intervention room. This room is now used daily by Mrs. Semple as a nurture space and has given our children a safe and secure space to work and express themselves emotionally. This has really helped our vision in providing a holistic approach to our children and the way we learn within St Eanswythe’s. Last term we were lucky enough to have some representatives from the Wooden Spoon Charity to come to officially open the Nurture Space. We feel incredibly lucky as a school to have been given this amazing opportunity to have such a fantastic resource and cannot wait to see it being used and loved for years to come.
