Bewl Water-Day Three
After a good nights sleep (if a little interrupted by a thunder storm!), the children were ready for our final day. We ate yet another amazing breakfast of freshly made pancakes and berries and were ready for canoeing.
We spent a lovely morning on the reservoir and enjoyed the wonderful scenery. The children were instructed on how to tie canoes together and listened carefully and attentively. They worked as a team and it was fantastic to see. We were towed by a bigger boat and were able to play some games and practise our rowing skills.
We headed back for a warm lunch and prepared for our final activities. This included a challenge course and the remaining activity the children hadn’t completed in the carousel the day before. After this, the children packed their cases and tidied their rooms; we were very sad to leave!
As mentioned before, it was really such a pleasure to spend time with the children as they are so impeccably behaved. Their manners and kind nature were noted by several staff members at Bewl but this came as no surprise to us, as it is what they do best! Thank you for an AMAZING weekend Year 6- you are truly brilliant!
