Confirmation 2022

On Monday 20th June 2022 a group of children from years 4, 5 and 6 were confirmed and one person was also baptised at St Mary and St Eanswythe’s Church.

The children have been working hard on the build up to being confirmed, they attended weekly lessons to learn what it meant to be confirmed and what would be expected of them. Sadly the first date had to be delayed but finally they were able to come together and celebrate the children choosing to be confirmed.

We were lucky enough that The Rt. Revd. Rose Hudson-Wilkins Bishop Of Dover was able to conduct the service for us. We all enjoyed the hymns and the congregation were able to join in with parts of the service by replying to some of the questions asked. We ended with a song as the congregation left and the confirmation candidates were able to have photos with Bishop Rose.
