Day and Night in Year 5
Today in science, Year 5 created concept posters to explain how and why day and night happens. The children successfully explained that we get day and night because the earth rotates on an imaginary line called an axis and different parts of the planet are facing towards the sun or away from it.
The children used scientific vocabulary as well as excellent speaking and listening skills. We have some excellent presenters in Year 5, full of confidence and flair. Well done Year 5.
