KS1 French Fun Afternoon: Term 1

In KS1 we engage in fun, practical, termly French sessions. Each class gets to take part in a session in Year 1 and a different session in Year 2.

In Owls this term we learnt all about les couleurs! The children sang the song ‘I Can Sing a Rainbow’ in English and then learnt how to sing the colours in the song in French. After lots of practise the children put their skills to use and completed a colouring activity.

In Eagles the children learnt nombres 1-10! They sung a song to help them remember the numbers and then played a matching up game, before finishing their session by completing an activity sheet.
