Celebrating Sikhi Week- Learning To Tie Turbans

Today Ducklings and their Year 5 buddies celebrated “Sikhi Week” by getting together in Ducklings classroom and learning how to tie turbans. We watched a tutorial on the whiteboard and then all gave it a try. They all came out really well and we had lots of fun learning and trying out a new skill. We did not have any of the traditional cloth (called a Pagri) used to tie our turbans so we made do with some beautiful scarves.
