Sikh life

This included creating a special bowl filled with sugar crystals, Amrit is a mixture of sugar and water that has been stirred with a double-edged sword. The candidates for initiation drink some of the Amrit from the same bowl, and have it sprinkled on their eyes and hair.

Bhangra is a type of traditional folk dance of Punjab and we learned that it is performed during the festival of Vaisakhi. Eagles learned some of the moves and performed a dance as a whole class.
