Year 6 Fractions

This term we are re-visiting fractions, equivalent fractions and how we simplify them. We use a variety of ways to do this including using our knowledge of factors and bar modelling. We started by making our own resources to use in the lessons which was a fraction wall, although folding a strip of paper into five equal pieces was a bit of a conundrum! We will then be progressing on to adding and subtracting fractions in preparation for multiplying and dividing them.
