Ducklings Nativity 2022- Baarmy Bethlehem
On Tuesday morning this week and again on Thursday evening, Ducklings class we’re able to perform this year’s nativity to the school and to their parents and families.
This year we told the story of ‘Baarmy Bethlehem’ which included all the traditional nativity characters, a few extra Party Sheep for the shepherds to manage, five little elves on the shelf, some very catchy songs and a violin solo.
On Thursday night we were lucky enough to be a part of the Folkestone Living Advent Calendar https://m.facebook.com/folkestonelivingadvent/ St Eanswythe’s School was door number 8. The children, the narrators (elves from year 4), our violin player and stage manager all stayed after school and we enjoyed some extra time together, playing football in the playground, watching films, and even eating Luben Pizza https://instagram.com/lubenpizza that was delivered to our classroom- what a treat!!
The children were absolutely amazing, they worked and practised so hard, looked adorable in their costumes and made everyone involved very very proud. Thank you to all the mums and dads for making and providing costumes and for everyone who came to watch and cheer them all on. Thank you to one of our Duckling’s dads who took some of these beautiful pictures of the children during their Tuesday morning performance.
Extra big thank you to the children in Ducklings for being so brave and learning all the songs and lines!
Merry Christmas from the whole Ducklings Team and the rest of the school.
