Ducklings PE

Ducklings enjoyed PE.  They were listening and following instructions on how to move in different ways. While working in groups they had to move around the hall and experiment with modes of travel. Everyone enjoyed taking part and showing their skills. 

Ducklings learning about Creation

This morning we thought about how Christians believe God made everything. All of us joined in by following the actions and singing to our Creation Song. Experimenting with Colour

Ducklings read the book about the adventures of the Colour Monster starting school. We discussed his feelings and how we felt about beginning school. After this we became scientists by experimenting with mixing prime colours and seeing how we could create new ones.    

Creative Buddies

Ducklings and their Year 5 buddies enjoyed creating mini versions of themselves. By selecting different materials to design each mini me and supporting each other by listening to each others ideas.

New Ducklings

Today we saw the first of the new Ducklings settle into school life. As you can see from the photos we had lots for fun getting to know each other. The 149th Open in Sandwich

Yesterday we took ten children from years three and four to the 149th Open in Sandwich. The children took part in a county tri golf competition and finished fourth.
