Art Club Achieve the Discovery Art Award

This morning our art club pupils received their Discovery Art Award Certificates from local artist Phil Garvey. To achieve Discover, the children  had to  explore the arts around them, find out about artists and their work and share their experiences with others. Dinosaur egg

A dinosaur egg arrived in Ducklings today. We made it a nest and we have drawn a warning poster to make sure nobody touches it because it is very precious! We have also been trying to guess what type of dinosaur will come out of the egg. We can’t wait for it to hatch!

Crackers & Mr Martin!

Eagles the Inventors

Eagles have designed and then created their own rockets. It was quite tricky as we used only junk modelling materials, paper and tape. We worked really hard and our designs were all different and amazing! Can you see how closely we followed our original designs?

Roman coins

Class 3 have been learning how to write explanation texts. We wrote an explanation on how to make a Roman coin decoration then we made a decoration using clay. We will putting the finishing touches to them later next week!
