Class 5 – Tri Golf

This week, Class 5 were given the opportunity to take part in a Tri Golf session in school. They learned all about club control, correct swing action and ball accuracy. Expert coaching was provided by Aaron, a PGA Professional at Sene Valley Golf Course.

Today Patti came into school to lead sport workshops about squash. The children in years 3, 4 and 6 all participated in one of the workshops. Multi skills

This morning Ducklings participated in a multiskills event. This included:- jumping,  balancing, ball skills, direction changing and travelling through hoops and under bridges. All the children were excellently behaved throughout our trip and had great fun.  

Trampolining Club

This term twelve children from Yr.6 have taken part in trampolining club at The Sports Centre. They have learnt how to do seat drops, swivel hips, front drops, back drops, sequences involving twists and are working on their somersaults. They have really enjoyed it and improve each week.

Gold at Water Polo Competition

Today two teams of children from Yr.5 and Yr.6 headed to the Sports Centre to take part in a water polo competition. Everyone played really well.
