Today Year 4 participated in a Folkestone school games basketball competition. There were five activities including the standing bounce, seated bounce, hoop shoot, figure of eight and head, waist, knees. The children worked hard on the challenges and enjoyed themselves.
Year 6 had a fantastic afternoon to consolidate our learning on Hinduism. They had a Hindi dance lesson and looked at specific moves to incorporate into a short routine (have a look at our videos!) On Friday, Yr.5 headed down to Seapoint Canoe Centre where they all had a session in an open canoe, one on a giant paddle board and a turn on sit on kayaks. Everyone had great fun, some overcame their fears and found they really enjoyed themselves and lots showed brilliant skills. Well done everyone!
This term the whole school took part in our term one intra sports competition. The children had to race against the clock, hopping through hula hoops as many times as they could in twenty seconds.
