Ducklings all enjoyed a fantastic day out yesterday. We walked to Radnor park where we spent some time on the park equipment and enjoyed a picnic in the sun! As you can see from our photos, Owls (and the adults) had an amazing time tobogganing today! After we ate our packed lunches at Radnor Park and then had a little play in the park with Eagles class. We finished the day off with a movie and doughnuts.
Tonight the children should sleep incredibly well as they have used up so much energy spending the morning at Folkestone Sports Centre with their Skywalk and Toboggan session. Year 6 had a fantastic time at Folkestone Sports Centre, taking part in Skywalk and Tobogganing. The children had lots of fun and behaved beautifully!
Yesterday we went to the Sports Centre for a SkyWalk and tobogganing session. All the children participated in the activities and a fun-filled afternoon was had by all.
Ducklings enjoyed PE. They were listening and following instructions on how to move in different ways. While working in groups they had to move around the hall and experiment with modes of travel. Everyone enjoyed taking part and showing their skills.
Although it was very windy, some of Year 6 had a great time participating in the Folkestone council cricket tournament. The scores were very close and we came in third place overall winning some very nice medals. All the children showed super sportsmanship and behaved extremely well. Yesterday everyone from owls to Yr.6 took part in a glow in the dark dodgeball session. It was great fun, the hall was completely blacked out and the UV lights were used. The children were given glow in the dark bibs and balls and played several different games.
