On Tuesday morning we had a lot of fun with badminton skills. It was led by Young Leaders from several local secondary schools and all the children received a certificate for their efforts. We were back in time for lunch at 12:30!
Today in worship we were able to celebrate our guitarists who have won copper and bronze awards. These show just how accomplished they have become at playing the guitar.

As part of our Rainforest topic this term we have been learning about the Fairtrade organisation. We made a visit to our local Asda store to compare the prices of Fairtrade products with other brands. We made some interesting discoveries and even asked some shoppers their views!
As part of this term’s fundraising for The School Bus Project, the children in Class 3 bought in unwanted toys for re-sale. This morning it was Yr.3’s turn to read at Pelham House. They enjoyed reading to the residents and learning a little bit about their lives. They were also lucky as they were invited to visit the fish and rabbits in the garden.
Today Patti came into school to lead sport workshops about squash. The children in years 3, 4 and 6 all participated in one of the workshops. We have been learning about the climate in a rainforest and how different it is from the climate in the UK. The children produced a weather report from rainforests around the world and presented them to the class in the style of a TV reporter.
