The theme this term is: Folkestone. We went on a walk to the harbour and then on to The Leas, taking in many of Folkestone’s landmarks along the way. The children are now busy working on various projects, which some will present to the rest of the school.

In art club this evening the children worked to fill A1 pieces of paper! They created some brilliant pieces of artwork as you can see from the photos.
We have been investigating different rocks, as part of our science topic this term. We have been considering how we use natural and man- made rocks in our everyday lives.
Saturday 12th September was St Eanswythe’s Day. We couldn’t celebrate altogether in the church as we usually would but had special worships in every class instead. Yr.6A competed in their final Tiki time today. They also completed two STEM challenges. These were creating a Lego maze for a marble and creating balloon powered cars using and improving upon their ideas from yesterday. There were some very creative and innovative ideas.
