The whole school entered a virtual competition organised by The Shepway School Games. Yr. R and KS1 did a multiskills competition involving jumping, running and throwing. On Friday, Yr.5 headed down to Seapoint Canoe Centre where they all had a session in an open canoe, one on a giant paddle board and a turn on sit on kayaks. Everyone had great fun, some overcame their fears and found they really enjoyed themselves and lots showed brilliant skills. Well done everyone!
We were fortunate enough to have an outdoor production of ‘The Lion Inside’ this morning. It is a touring show by LAS theatre company. This afternoon Class 5 took a walk around Folkestone looking for Victorian buildings and structures. We found many along the Leas including the Metropole (building started 1895) and The Grand (1899).
