KS2 Sports Extravaganza

Yr.6 Sleepover

As Yr.6 couldn’t go to their residential this year they had a sleepover in the hall last night.   The evening started with den building, there were some very cosy dens created by all the groups. Leaver’s Service

Last night we held our Leaver’s service for Yr.6. It was a really great service celebrating the Yr.6’s time at St Eanswythe’s School. Light -Yr.6

Yr.6 were looking at light last week.  They measure the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection from torches using mirrors.  They then split light into all the colours of the spectrum by making a spectroscope and using prisms.  

Year 6 Raising Money for Kenyan School in their Independent Learning

Year 6 have now completed their independent learning for this term. They chose to hold a variety of stalls. They worked together in small groups and decided what they would like to sell. Action Watersports

On Friday children in Yr.5 and Yr.6 who are in the middle or deep end swimming groups had a special trip.  They headed to Action Watersports in Lydd.  Here they were able to be pulled on a sofa boat at high speed and took part in a massive inflatable obstacle course on the lake.  As Continue reading
