Sunny Sands

Today Ducklings and Years 3 and 4 all went to the Sunny Sands beach. Children dug holes, built castles and created many other things with the sand, they also looked in the rock pools, some rescued a fish and many did lots of paddling in the sea.

Duckling’s Sports Event

Yesterday Yr.6 ran a sporting event for Duckings. The children worked in teams of five or six and rotated round different stations involving running, jumping, throwing and agility activities. Everyone did really well. Yr 6’s were great leaders and were very encouraging to their teams.

Dear Parents, Ducklings will be exploring their new topic the ‘Seaside and Castles’. As this our final term and to aid transition into KS1, we will be working with Year 1 and Year 2. Wingham Wildlife Park

The Ducklings had super weather for their trip to Wingham. They explored the park in small groups, learning all about the different animals, some fed the Meerkats and goats. Mrs Price was chased by a bird! We also got up close to a snake and tarantula skin.

Bush Craft

The Ducklings had a great morning discovering the outdoors at bushcraft. We, learnt how to be safe around the camp fire, how to start fires and put them out safely. We explored different ways of making shelters and discovered many different bugs!

Peppa Pig Muddy Puddles

The Ducklings have had lots of fun jumping in muddy puddles while raising money for ‘Save the Children’. As a class we raised £311, Well done Ducklings.
