Ducklings have been enjoying dancing, singing and moving to music with a lovely dance teacher, Natalie, who comes in on Tuesday afternoons. Natalie has been very impressed by the Ducklings’ ability to listen and keep in time to the music!
It was lovely to see all of the children dressed up as their heroes today for Children in Need. Ducklings, Owls and Eagles went to the Leas Cliff Hall this afternoon to watch ‘What the ladybird heard’ an adaptation of the story by Julia Donaldson. We all really enjoyed singing along and cheering when the baddies got tricked by the farm animals.
Ducklings enjoyed listening to the story of Guy Fawkes and then created their own firework pictures.
We had a lovely worship this morning as we all said goodbye to Rosemary, our minister, and thanked her for all her support and work for our school. We celebrated Harvest Festival this afternoon at St Mary and St Eanswythe’s Church. Each class performed a song to do with harvest and we listened to bible readings and prayers about the food that we have.
