Children’s Liaison Officer

My name is Katy Semple and as Children’s Liaison Officer for St Eanswythe’s I am an impartial member of the Staff Team. My role is to support and encourage the children’s social and emotional development. I am part of the Pastoral Team and Safeguarding Team.

Parents, staff and the children themselves can access me for a wide variety of support, such as: – Friendship Groups, Social Skills and Team Building. I also provide Therapeutic Play for KS1 children. If children have concerns about school or home that they are finding hard to voice I will support them with this.

I work closely with The Family Liaison Officer, Kim Adlington, and we offer a confidential service to families at times when they may have changes in their lives or just need a bit of extra support.
