This week we held our annual confirmation service. Ten of our pupils were confirmed and it was lovely to welcome Bishop Rise to lead the service. Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made for them when they were baptised. Bishop Rose laid her hands on their heads and asked God’s Holy Spirit to give them the strength and commitment to live God’s way for the rest of their life. Today four Year 5 pupils went to Folkestone Academy to participate in a primary school's Maths Challenge. A total of eighteen schools faced six rounds of varied types of questions. There was a speed round, logic puzzles, a murder mystery to solve, a group challenge, a crossnumber and a set of relay questions. Our children showed perseverance whilst working their brains really hard. They did a fantastic job and came 3rd overall. Well done you made us proud.

This term, we have continued to visit Glendale to read to some of the residents. Our reading buddies kindly give up some of their free time to listen to our children read. The reading activities are enjoyed by everyone.
