The children have been very fortunate to be visited by one of our wonderful parents, Lori Fischer, who is a biologist. She came in to speak to all of the children about bioplastics and even demonstrated how they can be produced from a natural substance... Starch, which can be extracted from potatoes or corn! Year 4 had a lovely afternoon welcoming and hosting someone special in their lives. They performed a small talent show displaying their wonderful talents such as dancing, gymnastics, cheesy jokes, football skills and beautiful artwork. The afternoon ended with some delicious cakes and tea.

Year 4 had a very exciting Tuesday morning, as they got the opportunity to visit Block 67 to take part in a fun workshop. The children looked at various artists whose artwork is based on chain reactions. Some brilliant questions were being asked, as well as ideas for their own creations.
