Recently in social club, we have been experimenting with different materials. The children have made models and towers using newspaper, tin foil and card. Social club have also been creating our new display board. Which is a winter bird theme. We have played with the parachute, built with Lego and used the iPads.
This week we have been extra festive! The children have made reindeer cards, using their hand prints. Social club have also made Christmas patterns whilst sewing. KS1 had a great Christmas party! The children enjoyed eating lots of party food and played many games. We also had two special guests……Santa and Mrs Claus! All the children got to meet Santa and received a special present from him. Thank you to everyone for sending in party food.
This week in social club the children have had another dance session, this time lead by a pupil. On Tuesday we decorate biscuits with lots of sprinkles! We have also been creative by using the junk modelling. Lastly, on Friday the children completed a scavenger hunt around the school.

This week in Social club we have had a javelin competition on the playground. The children were a lot better than the adults ! We have also made our own obstacle courses, which were very impressive. The children have used the bikes and playground equipment. On Thursday we made sea creatures using shells.
We have been very busy in social club these past two weeks. The children have enjoyed our cricket lessons on Thursdays and creating beautiful beach collage pictures. We have spent a lot of time in the sunshine playing on the bikes and outdoor equipment. Lastly, we enjoyed an ice lolly on Friday!
This week in social club the children helped us do the gardening in the playground. We have played with the Lego and bikes. On Thursday we had cricket, the children were able to learn how to throw and catch correctly. Finally on Friday social club had a picnic dinner! The children really enjoyed this.
