Breakfast & After School Club

At St Eanswythe's Primary School, we are proud to offer our own wrap-around care provisions to support our families, providing a safe, engaging, and familiar environment for your children outside of standard school hours.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is based in the school dining room and runs from 7:30 am to 8:10 am. The club is run by our fantastic school teaching assistants who are all well-known to the children.

A menu of healthy breakfast options is provided. The entrance to the club is via the green gate, with the children going through into the canteen. You can drop off your children from 7:30 am, but please ensure your child arrives by 7:55 am at the latest if they wish to have breakfast.

Children also have the opportunity to brush their teeth before the end of the session. If you would like your child to do this, please bring in a toothbrush and toothpaste in a small named bag.

  • Cost: £5.00 per session
  • Booking: Sessions must be paid for in advance (weekly, monthly, or termly). Parents can book a place at Breakfast Club using Arbor.

Children are expected to behave in a sensible and responsible manner and to follow instructions from staff. Normal school rules regarding health and safety and movement about the buildings apply. Aggressive behaviour or lack of co-operation will lead to exclusion from the club.

Please note: If you wish for your child to stop attending Breakfast Club, you must provide one month's notice in writing. If you would like your child to attend, please speak to the school office.

After School Club

We are very proud of our St Eanswythe's After School Club, offering a wide range of activities including creative arts, cooking, games, computing, and outdoor play. Our aim is to make the club fun and accessible for all children.

The After School Club runs Monday to Friday, term time only, from the end of the school day until 17:30.

  • Short Session (until 16:15): £6.50 per child
  • Full Session (until 17:30): £13.00 per child
  • Booking: Sessions must be paid for in advance. Parents can book a place using Arbor or by using childcare vouchers.

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the school office or check on Arbor to enquire about places.
