Teachsport Canterbury After-School Wraparound Provision

After-School club provision at St.Eanswythe’s C Of E Primary school is provided in school by Teachsport Canterbury.

Teachsport are a well-established provider of high-quality services supporting PE and Primary School Sport. We have been working in education and childcare industry since 1995 with our first-base in South London, and we constantly strive to maintain and extend a reputation of high-quality service. We achieve this by coming from a background of education, sport’s governing body tutors and professionalism.
 

After-School care from September 2024 will run from from 3:00pm-5:45pm. This provision will be Monday – Friday (term-time only).

Our Vision

The main priority for our provision is that children are safe, cared for and enjoy their time with us after school. We feel strongly that pupils at St.Eanswythe’s deserve an ASC provision that reflects the school’s vision and style. It should reflect the age of the children, enabling them to explore their interests, challenge themselves and support them to become independent, responsible and resilient young people. We are fully aware this a long day for children in extended care, so the aim of our approach, enables all children to pursue their interests or try something new with a range of planned activities with equal opportunities that don’t make them feel like they’re just being ‘babysat’. We will also, have a variety of play and craft activities on offer as well as homework and reading support. The overarching theme will be ‘healthy, active lifestyles’. Furthermore, mental well-being is a large part of this, and we will be including activities around growth mindset, emotional intelligence, relaxation, resilience and co-operation. As you would’ve seen on my flyer, a meal will be provided at around 4:30pm at my club. This will give you as parents, peace of mind that your children have been fed so you do not have to worry about providing a meal when you get home. Once the club takes place, you will be informed of what food is served every day and the activities planned for the week.

Bookings

Our booking system (ClassforKids) is up and running for September 2024. On our booking system, you will be able to select the sessions you would like for your children, add any medical or additional support the child needs, add emergency contact details and finally make a payment. We will be accepting tax-free childcare vouchers, so if this applies to you, please let us know. The club gives you flexibility whereby, if you only need your children looked after for a brief period after- school (3pm-4:15pm) this will cost £5.50 per child/per day. If you would like your children to stay longer than 4:15pm, this will be a total price of £11.00 per child/per day (3pm-5:45pm).
