The Ducklings had a wonderful time in the lead-up to Easter, enjoying a week full of hands-on activities and joyful celebrations.
We got creative making Easter bonnets and crowns, decorating them with spring colours, chicks and flowers all ready for our Easter parade in The Bayle and churchyard! The children also made the most adorable donkeysĀ using wooden pegs and wool and paper handprint palm leaves, helping us remember the story of Palm Sunday in time for our church service.
In the classroom, the delicious smell of baking filled the air as we made our very own hot cross buns, the children set about carefully mixing, kneading and shaping the dough before they went into the oven.
To end our week of Easter fun, we headed out to The Bayle PondĀ for a special Easter egg hunt! The children were so excited as they searched high and low to find all the hidden eggs.
It was a lovely way to celebrate the season together ā full of creativity, teamwork, and lots of chocolate! š°š¼
