Leavers’ Service 2026

Today was the leavers’ service in church and what a wonderful service it was.

The Year 6s read out some favourite memories of their time at St Eanswythe’s, some of these were extremely funny. (It is very clear that I do not enjoy heights!) They then received their awards for academic achievements, a ‘quirky’ oscar for every pupil in the class as well as a bible to mark their time at St Eanswythes.

After church the route back to school was lined by the other six classes, staff and parents, who all applauded as our leavers walked through the centre. They all threw their caps and berets into the air to say a huge ‘hooray’, they had completed the primary years of their educational journey.

We wish them all the best of luck at their secondary schools and hope they will come back every so often to tell us how they are getting on.
