Year 4 have been diving deep into the fascinating world of water cycles in their Geography lessons. Recently, they had the opportunity to use various resources to create models and artwork representing different parts or the entirety of the water cycle. The creativity and effort displayed by the students were truly impressive.
Using a range of materials such as LEGO, card, paper, recycled items, paint and pens, the children brought the water cycle to life in both 3D and 2D forms. Each group approached the project with their own unique interpretation, resulting in a wonderful variety of pieces.
Some groups opted for colourful 3D models built from LEGO, showcasing the stages of evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection. Others used recycled materials to craft intricate depictions of the water cycle, highlighting the importance of sustainability. Card and paper models, enhanced with paint and pens, demonstrated the students’ artistic skills and understanding of the water cycle’s processes.
The classroom was filled with vibrant, creative representations, each one reflecting the students’ grasp of the water cycle and their enthusiasm for learning. It was a joy to see how different materials and interpretations could come together to illustrate this essential natural process.
Well done, Year 4, for your fantastic work and imaginative models!
