WBD Hat Competition

Last week, to celebrate World Book Day, sixty of our children took part in our Hat Competition. It was wonderful to see how much care, time and creativity had gone into each and every hat. The entries showed fantastic effort from the children, with each one designing a unique hat inspired by a favourite story or book character.

Today we announced the winners and took time during our celebration worship to recognise and celebrate every single hat. The display was truly breath-taking, but even more special was seeing the children’s faces beaming with pride as they proudly wore their creations for everyone to see.

Thank you to all of our families for the support and encouragement you give at home, it really shines through in opportunities like this. Well done St Eanswythe’s, for creating such a memorable World Book Day!
