Buddies Do Beach School

Last term the Ducklings waddled down to the beach with their Year 5 buddies, full of excitement and giggles. Although the sun was not shining the children were incredibly excited! When we arrived the children were eager to get started. Some got to work building the most magnificent sandcastles—complete with towers, moats, and even tiny shells and seaweed decorations. Others scampered off to explore the rock pools. There, they discovered shiny pebbles, sea glass treasure, tiny crabs (and one not so tiny) and wiggly seaweed. Everything was fascinating and just made them more curious to explore other pools!

With salty noses and sandy feet, they spent the rest of the morning soaking up the joy of being together. It was a lovely time—one they'll remember for a long while.
