Change can be hard!

Our PSHE topic this term is all about change and in our whole school assembly today we had a big discussion and game linked to this theme! We thought about all the changes that would be taking place this term, like meeting our new teachers and special days out. We all agreed that change can be fun, but also hard sometimes. To emphasise this idea we all played a game of crossing our arms, we all crossed our arms normally and then had to think of new ways to complete this action. There was some great examples of crazy arm crossing going on! After this, we thought about how the unusual and different ways of crossing our arms made us feel? It was a bit challenging, and at times uncomfortable but we all managed to do it. This is a lot like the concept of change, it can make us feel strange but if we support each other we can all do it!
