Before Christmas, the children took part in a wonderfully creative Artist Day, which blossomed into a truly special festive event for our whole school community. During the day, each class learned about a famous artist, explored their unique style, and used this inspiration to design and create their own beautiful Christmas tree decorations.
These unique pieces of artwork were then displayed on Christmas trees throughout the church for our after-school Christmas Tree Trail. Stepping inside the church, families were welcomed into a magical and festive space, filled with creativity, colour and the quiet wonder that comes from seeing children’s work celebrated in such a special setting. The atmosphere was truly enchanting and provided a perfect backdrop for this unique exhibition.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff for organising and supporting the day, to the children for their creativity and enthusiasm and to our wonderful parents for attending and supporting the event. A special thank you also goes to the PTFA for making this event possible and for their continued support of the school. Thanks to your generosity, the event helped raise valuable funds that will go towards future fun and enriching activities for our children.
It was a memorable celebration of creativity, community and the magic of Christmas at St Eanswythe’s.
