Emotional Literacy and me!

Emotional literacy means understanding and talking about how we feel. Just like we can learn new words for things we see or do, we can also learn words to explain our feelings! Sometimes, we feel happy, sad, excited, or even angry, and that's okay! When we understand our emotions, we can choose how to deal with them in a healthy way, like finding a safe space to chill out when we're cross or sharing a smile when we're happy. We had a great time today sharing our feelings verbally and then writing and drawing them as a way of expressing ourselves. Talking about our emotions is a great way to keep our minds healthy!
