FESI Art Trip

A small group of Year 5 pupils were selected to represent our school on a recent FESI Art trip to the National Gallery in London. During their visit, they took part in a guided tour focused on how artists tell stories through their work, using myths, legends and historical tales as inspiration.

The children explored how characters, settings and symbols in paintings can bring stories to life, from ancient Greek myths to epic battles and magical moments.

They were encouraged to look closely, find hidden clues and imagine their own versions of the stories. It was an inspiring and creative experience for all involved.
